CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is switching up the way it communicates with patients.
That’s according to a social media post from the hospital, which states that it has transitioned to the Epic Hello World text messaging platform as of Monday, Jan. 21.
“This new platform will allow patients to receive text messages related to appointment reminders, prescription reminders, one-time passcodes, care management updates and more,” the post states.
As of Monday, patients who were previously receiving text messages from the medical center were automatically opted into texting through the new platform. Patients can choose to opt out.
The hospital notes that text messages will be sent to the phone number provided. Message and data rates may apply and the message frequency will vary.
To begin text communication, patients can text START to 97078. For help, text HELP; text STOP to opt out of notifications.
