UW: 113 active confirmed COVID cases, 178 in quarantine as of Friday

CASPER, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming reports 113 active confirmed cases of COVID-19 among students and employees as of noon Friday, Sept. 18.

178 other students or employees are in 14-day quarantine due to possible exposure to someone with a confirmed COVID-19 case.

The 113 active cases are as follows:

  • on-campus students: 5
  • off-campus student: 92
  • UW employees: 16

Among the 178 people who are in quarantine, 10 are living on campus and 168 are living off campus.

UW adds that 98 students or employees who previously tested positive have recovered. 119 people have also had their 14-day quarantines lifted.

Vault Health has completed 8,366 for UW since Aug. 24.
