LARAMIE, Wyo. — With the collegiate basketball season fast approaching, the Mountain West conference has released its national broadcast lineup. Lucky for the Cowgirls, two of Wyoming’s women’s basketball games, both against UNLV, will air nationally.
This will be the first time since the 2022 season that the Cowgirls see any national screen time at all. The last time they were aired nationally was when Wyoming faced off against Colorado State University in the final game of the regular season.
This season, the Cowgirls will be broadcast to the entire country against three-time defending conference champion UNLV Jan. 19 in Las Vegas at 2 p.m. and March 5 in Laramie at 8:30 p.m. The January game will be distributed through the CBS Sports Network, while Fox Sports One will show the Cowgirls off to the world in March.
As is more typical, the University of Wyoming’s men’s basketball game will also receive nationally televised games. Below is a full list, excluding conference and national championship games, of every Cowboys game to appear on national television.
