CASPER, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming has produced several NFL players currently making an impact. Here’s how they did in the most recent week’s slate of games.
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Star quarterback Josh Allen was in fine form this week, as a strong effort against the Seattle Seahawks helped propel his team to a comfortable 31–10 win.
Allen was an efficient 24-of-34 on his passing attempts, throwing for 284 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also managed to pick up 35 yards on the ground.
Allen currently has 14 passing TDs this season, tied for the fourth most in the league.
Frank Crum, Denver Broncos
Frank Crum, a rookie offensive lineman for the Broncos, saw very limited playing time in his team’s 28–14 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Crum took the field for just three snaps in the contest.
Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints
Defensive lineman Carl Granderson had a decent outing for the Saints this week, though he wasn’t enough to help his team to victory, as New Orleans fell 26–8 to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Granderson had a trio of tackles in the loss, as well as a quarterback hit.
While Granderson’s output has been solid in 2024–25, his numbers represent a regression from the prior season, when he emerged as one of the most improved players in the league. For the season, Granderson sports 30 tackles, three sacks, four tackles for loss, one forced fumble and five quarterback hits.
Chad Muma, Jacksonville Jaguars
Chad Muma did not record a statistic in his team’s 30–27 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
He took the field for 22 special teams snaps, but did not play a defensive down for the first time this season.
Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals
Casper native Logan Wilson was strong once again on Sunday, though it wasn’t enough to help his team to victory as the Bengals fell 37–17 to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wilson recorded seven tackles in the game. He currently has 71 this season.
