CASPER, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming has produced several NFL players currently making an impact. Here’s how they did in the most recent week’s slate of games.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a big night against the L.A. Rams on Sunday, though it wasn’t enough to propel his team to victory, as Buffalo lost a 44–42 shootout.

Allen finished with a season-high 342 yards with a trio of passing touchdowns, as well as three more rushing TDs and 30 yards on the ground.

Allen ranks sixth in the league in passing TDs and 11th in passing yards this season.

Frank Crum, Denver Broncos

Frank Crum and the Denver Broncos enjoyed their bye in Week 14. They will next be in action against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15.

Tashaun Gipson Sr., San Francisco 49ers

Veteran safety Tashaun Gipson took the field for just eight snaps on Sunday, and did not record a stat as his team cruised to a 38–13 victory over the Chicago Bears.

Gipson, who missed the early goings of the season due to a suspension, has yet to record a stat this year. His return to the field was in Week 10.

Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints

Carl Granderson had a very solid outing in Week 14, helping his Saints earn a hard-fought victory over the New York Giants 14–11.

Granderson finished the game with four tackles, a pass broken up and a trio of quarterback hits.

He has 44 tackles thus far this season.

Chad Muma, Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars won a defensive gem of a game on Sunday, prevailing 10–6 over the Tennessee Titans. However, former Poke Chad Muma did not record a stat in the win.

Muma, a third-year linebacker, has 31 tackles on the season.

Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals

Casper native Logan Wilson was unable to take part in his team’s 27–20 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14, as he nursed a knee injury. It was his first game missed this season.

According to reports from the Bengals’ camp, Wilson is unfortunately expected to miss the remainder of the 2024–25 season after undergoing surgery on the knee.

Wilson emerged as the undisputed leader of Cincinnati’s defensive unit this year, currently boasting 104 total tackles.

Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars

Similar to Muma, Wingard did not record a stat in his team’s low-scoring win in Week 14.

Wingard, like Gipson, also missed much of the season; however, Wingard’s absence was the result of starting the season on the injured reserve. He has one tackle on the year.
