Gusty winds, ice and blowing snow are causing travel headaches this morning in Wyoming.

WY 789 between Rawlins and Muddy Gap is closed on Thursday morning due to “winter conditions and crashes,” according to WYDOT.

Also closed this morning is US 287 between Rawlins and Muddy Gap.

In addition, I-80 between Elk Mountain and Laramie is closed to high profile vehicles due to wind gusts and slick roads, as is US 30 between Medicine Bow and Laramie and US 287 between Laramie and Medicine Bow.
