CASPER, Wyo. – WYDOT has added a 70-mile stretch of Interstate 25 to the closure list early Tuesday morning.
Travel between Cheyenne and Wheatland on I-25 is prohibited as of 6 a.m. The closure comes about an hour after Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie was closed in both directions.
Interstate 90 between Buffalo and Gillette has been closed since late Monday night, according to WYDOT.
The estimated opening times for all closures is listed as unknown.
A number of highways are also experiencing closures or no unnecessary travel warnings this morning, including US 30 between Laramie and Cheyenne, and US 85 between Cheyenne and Newcastle, and US 87 between Cheyenne and Wheatland. US 287 between Laramie and Lander is also closed.
