NWS now forecast baseball sized hail in severe storms Wednesday in SE Wyoming, Nebraska panhandle

CASPER, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Cheyenne have issued an update to their severe storm watch for the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, May 20.

While they had called for the possibility of golf ball sized hail on Tuesday, the NWS said on Wednesady that the storms could produce baseball sized hail.

They add that flash flooding and “a few tornadoes” are also possible.

“Please remain alert today and be safe,” the NWS in Cheyenne said via Twitter.

They said the highest chance of sever weather is in the orange area of this map:
