CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation shared photos on Thursday, May 21 of crews removing snow from WYO 70.
“WYO 70 over Battle Pass is open for the summer season,” WYDOT District 1 said on Twitter. “Motorists be cautious: some slick spots may remain from melting snow, some signs for upcoming sharp turns are still covered by snow.”
“Be alert for potential late-spring wintry weather as well.”

WYDOT now list Beartooth Pass as the only major highway in the state still seeing seasonal closures. Full road condition from WYDOT is available online.
