CHEYENNE, Wyo. – According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, mostly sunny skies are expected early Monday before cloud cover begins to move in along with the chance for scattered showers late in the afternoon.
Showers will start off as rain, but will transition over to snow in the evening. The weather report calls for mostly cloudy overnight, with a low around 24. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Snow showers will linger around the area through Tuesday morning as light snow accumulations are expected at this time.
Skies will begin to clear Tuesday afternoon as the winds increase heading into Wednesday.
Winds tomorrow could gust as high as 30 mph.
