CASPER, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Riverton says that light snow showers are expected on Monday, Nov. 23 in the western mountains in Wyoming.

Snow is also expected in the far southern region of the state on Monday. The NWS in Riverton says snow showers are likely to occur this afternoon and Monday night.

“Snow accumulations are expected to be less than an inch, but snow may create some slick roads, especially after sunset,” the NWS in Riverton adds.

There is a chance that snow will return to the state on Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day “mainly across the west and northwest.”

Strong winds are also expected between Rock Springs and Casper on Wednesday.
