CASPER, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Riverton says that weather could impact travel in Wyoming beginning on Wednesday through Thanksgiving morning.

“The reasons Wyoming starts with a ‘W’…Winter and Wind,” the NWS in Riverton said.

Snowy conditions are expected across the western part of the state starting Wednesday afternoon. The NWS in Riverton said that could make travel difficult “especially across Teton Pass.”

The area between Muddy Gap and Casper is expected to see strong, gusty winds on Wednesday.
