Cheyenne residents could see more snow this weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents will have a day of sun this weekend before the snow returns, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Today, Nov. 4, will have patchy blowing snow between 1 and 2 p.m., with skies gradually becoming sunnier throughout the day. There will be a high of 36 and west-northwest winds at 5–10 mph, with windspeeds increasing to 15–20 mph in the afternoon. The evening will be mostly clear with a low of 26 and west winds at 20–25 mph increasing to 30–35 mph after midnight. Wind gusts could reach as high as 55 mph.

It will be mostly sunny on Saturday, Nov. 5 with a high of 51 and west winds at 35–45 mph gusting as high as 65 mph. There is a 20% chance of precipitation that evening, with a chance of snow after 3 a.m. The evening will be mostly cloudy with a low of 30 and west winds at 25–35 mph decreasing to 15–25 mph after midnight. Wind gusts could be as high as 50 mph.

Sunday, Nov. 6, will have a 20% chance of snow before 2 p.m. The day will be partly sunny with a high of 45 and west-northwest winds at 15–20 mph set to shift to the south in the afternoon. Winds gusts could be as high as 30 mph. There will be a 20% chance of rain and snow before 7 p.m., with the evening being mostly cloudy with a low of 25.
