CASPER, Wyo. — A number of Wyoming roadways are closed due to winter conditions on Tuesday morning, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
Interstate 25 between Cheyenne and Wheatland closed at 11:54 a.m. in both directions due to winter conditions, WYDOT said.
Interstate 80 is closed in both directions between Rock Springs and Rawlins as of 9:35 a.m. Tuesday. Westbound I-80 is closed from Laramie to Rawlins. Eastbound I-80 is closed from Cheyenne to the Nebraska state line, according to WYDOT.
U.S. Highway 30 is closed in both directions between Point of Rocks and Laramie, though some eastbound travel is allowed in the Rawlins area from Rawlins to Exit 235, according to WYDOT.
U.S. 287 is closed from Laramie to Sweetwater Station Junction, though eastbound travel from Rawlins to Walcott Junction is allowed.
U.S. 191 is closed from Utah to mile marker 502.
WY 71 is closed from Rawlins to the end of the state route.
WY 135 is closed from WY 139 to Sweetwater Junction.
WY 313 is closed from Chugwater to U.S. 85.
WY 430 is closed from Rock Springs to Colorado.
WY 789 is closed from I-80 near Rawlins to the junction with WY 28/U.S. 287.
No unnecessary travel and black ice advisories are in effect on a range of other highways in the state.
