Snow returning to Cheyenne before Christmas

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, residents can expect the snow to return a few days before Christmas.

Today, Dec. 20, will be mostly sunny with a high of 36 and southwest winds at 15–20 mph. The evening will be mostly cloudy with a low of 17 and southwest winds at 15–20 mph.

There will be a 60% chance of snow on Wednesday, Dec. 21, with a high of 35 and partly sunny skies. Windchill values will be between minus 10 and zero degrees. Winds will be at 15–25 mph in the west, with the possibility of gusts as high as 35 mph. There will be a 70% chance of snow in the evening with a low of minus 26 and mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be in the north at 25 mph with possible gusts as high as 40 mph.

Thursday, Dec. 22, will be sunny with a high of minus 8 degrees. The evening will be mostly clear with a low of minus 18.
