CASPER, Wyo. — Westbound Interstate 80 is closed to all traffic between Rawlins and Laramie as of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday due to a crash, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation. U.S. 30/287 are also facing closures to all traffic due to the crash.
While eastbound I-80 is open to most traffic, wind closures prohibiting light, high-profile traffic are in effect on I-80 from Laramie to Rawlins, according to WYDOT. Wind closures are also in effect on I-25, with the stretch between Casper and Cheyenne closed to light, high-profile traffic.
Full closures, partial closures and travel hazards abound on highways and interstates across the state.
In addition to the closures mentioned above, I-80 has black ice advisories in effect in the Evanston and Lyman areas, according to WYDOT.
U.S. 14A is closed to all traffic from Cody to Bear Lodge due to winter conditions. WY 28 is closed to all traffic from Farson to the U.S. 287 / WY 789 junction due to winter conditions.
