Patchy blowing snow to continue in Cheyenne before weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents can expect patchy blowing snow before the weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

There will be patchy blowing snow today, Jan. 19, alongside sunny skies and a high near 35. Winds will be in the west-northwest at 20–25 mph but will decrease to 10–15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. This evening will be partly cloudy with a low of 12 and west-northwest winds at 5 mph.

Friday, Jan. 20, will be mostly cloudy with a high of 29 and northeast winds at 5–10 mph. The evening will be mostly cloudy with a low of 13. Winds will begin in the north before shifting to the west-northwest at 5–10 mph.

Saturday, Jan. 21, will be mostly sunny with a high of 31 and northwest winds at 15–20 mph. Winds will increase to 20–25 mph in the afternoon with possible gusts of up to 40 mph. The evening will be mostly cloudy with a low of 17.
