Cheyenne expected to see snow Sunday night

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents have seen plenty of winter weather over the past few weeks and can expect to see even more this weekend. According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, a slight chance of snow today will turn into a likelihood by Sunday night.

On Sunday, the NWS in Cheyenne forecasts a 60% chance of snowfall, with up to 2 inches of accumulation possible. The snow is expected to pick up late at night, starting at roughly 11 p.m.

On Sunday, temperatures will reach a high of roughly 34 degrees, with the low being 15.

Snow is possible today, though not likely. According to the NWS in Cheyenne, the chance of snow today is 20%.
