Cheyenne to have a slight chance of snow to start off March

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The month of March will start with a slight chance of snow, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Today, March 1, there is a 20% chance of snow with increasing cloud cover and a high of 31. Winds will be in the southeast at 5–10 mph before increasing to 15–20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. There will be a 30% chance of snow in the evening, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 17. Winds will be in the south-southeast at 5–15 mph.

Thursday, March 2, will be sunny with a high of 37 and northwest winds at 5–15 mph. The evening will be mostly cloudy with a low of 21 and west winds at 15 mph.

There will be a 20% chance of snow on Friday, March 3, with partly sunny skies and a high of 37. Winds will be in the west-northwest at 25–30 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph. There will be a 30% chance of snow in the evening with partly cloudy skies and a low of 14.
