CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents saw the sixth consecutive February with colder-than-average temperatures, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
The average temperature this month was 28.2 degrees, which is 1.3 degrees colder than average. The warmest day was on Feb. 11 with a high of 58, and the coldest day was on Feb. 23 with a low of minus 19
Cheyenne saw 0.37 inches of precipitation, which is 0.15 inches lower than average. Residents saw 6.5 inches of snow over the month, 2.5 inches less than average.
There were five days with over 60 mph wind gusts, with the highest windspeed reaching 77 mph on Feb. 19.
