Cheyenne could have a wet start to the weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Residents could have a wet weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Today, March 9, will be sunny with a high of 39. Winds will be in the west-northwest starting at 15–25 mph and increasing to 25–35 mph. Gusts could be as high as 50 mph. It will be partly cloudy in the evening with a low of 20 and northwest winds at 5–10 mph set to shift to the south.

It will be mostly cloudy on Friday, March 10, with a high of 48 and south-southwest winds at 15 mph reaching gusts of up to 30 mph. The evening will have a 20% chance of rain with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 33. Winds will be in the south-southwest at 10–20 mph with gusts of up to 30 mph.

On Saturday, March 11, there will be a 30% chance of rain with partly sunny skies and a high of 44. Winds will be in the west at 20–25 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph. There will be a 20% chance of snow in the evening with partly cloudy skies and a low of 21.
