CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents could soon be seeing snowfall, with the National Weather Service in Cheyenne calling for a chance of winter weather in the coming days.
The area will first see a slight chance of snow showers on Monday, with a 20% chance of snowfall starting after 1 p.m. The day is expected to heat up, however, with a high of 47 degrees. At night, temperatures will drop into the 20s and the chance of snow grows somewhat to 30%.
Snow will become more likely on Tuesday night, with a 50% chance of snow falling after 7 p.m. Temperatures will drop to as low as 24 degrees, the NWS in Cheyenne reports.
On Wednesday, the possibility of snowfall turns into a likelihood of it, with the NWS in Cheyenne calling for a 70% chance of snow showers in the afternoon.
Today, however, will be quite a different story. Cheyenne-area residents will be able to enjoy sunny skies and temperatures approaching 50 degrees to close out the weekend.
