Mostly sunny weather ahead for Cheyenne area

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Outside of a slight chance of rain Sunday afternoon, the coming days look to be bright and sunny for Cheyenne, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Today, the NWS in Cheyenne reports conditions will start warm and sunny. In the afternoon, however, clouds are likely to roll in, bringing a 20% chance of scattered rain with them. However, the chance of rain is likely to dissipate by evening.

Temperatures will reach a high of 68 degrees, and 35 mph wind gusts are expected to make conditions feel cooler.

Monday and Tuesday are both expected to be sunny and warm, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s on Monday to the high 80s on Tuesday. Each day will also see only light to moderate winds of 5–10 mph, the NWS in Cheyenne reports.
