Mostly sunny weekend in store for Cheyenne area

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The coming days are expected to be mostly sunny for Cheyenne residents, though the National Weather Service in Cheyenne predicts a slight possibility of rain later in the day today.

Forecasts predict a sunny start to today. However, the NWS in Cheyenne reports a 30% chance of scattered showers beginning in the early afternoon. Temperatures are expected to top out at around 87 degrees, and a light to moderate wind of 5–15 mph is anticipated as well.

At night, the chance of scattered rainfall grows to 40%, and temperatures are likely to fall to a low of around 60.

On Sunday, conditions are likely to remain dry. Temperatures will once again reach a high of 87, with variable winds throughout the day.
