CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cloudy and rainy skies can be expected over the coming days for Cheyenne-area residents.
Today, conditions will start mostly sunny with some cloud coverage in the morning, though the National Weather Service in Cheyenne reports a 20% chance of scattered and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 69 degrees, while light winds of 5–10 mph are possible throughout the day.
Tonight will see mostly clear skies with a low around 53. Winds blowing in from the south at 5–10 mph are expected to shift to the southwest after midnight.
On Sunday, a slight 20% chance of showers in the morning hours will grow into a 50% likelihood as the day progresses. Temperatures throughout the day will reach a high near 76, the NWS in Cheyenne reports.
The 50% chance of storms will carry over into the evening and nighttime hours, as temperatures drop to a low of 55 degrees on Sunday night.
