CHEYENNE, Wyo. — According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, Cheyenne may see rain to close out the past week and start the coming one.
Today will begin with clear skies, but the NWS in Cheyenne reports that by the mid-afternoon, rain is possible throughout the area. By 3 p.m., showers and thunderstorms are likely, with some of the storms potentially producing gusty winds.
Temperatures will likely reach a high of roughly 83 degrees today.
The rainfall is expected to continue into the night, mainly before 9 p.m., as temperatures drop to a low of 56 degrees.
Monday brings with it a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Again, the storms may create strong wind conditions, with gusts of 15–25 mph expected throughout the day. Labor Day will also see a high near 80 that will fall to a low of 49 after sundown.
Tuesday, like today, will begin with sunny skies, though that will turn rapidly into a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.
