Cheyenne to see sunny start to week before chance of Tuesday showers

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A bright start to the coming week may be interrupted by Tuesday showers, according to reports from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies, with a high near 79 degrees. Winds from the west are expected to roll in throughout the day at 5–10 mph.

Clouds should start to form in the evening, but no precipitation is expected, the NWS in Riverton states. Meanwhile, temperatures will drop to a low of around 51 degrees after sundown.

Monday will likely be another sunny day, with a high near 79 degrees. At night, conditions will again fall to the low 50s.

However, the spate of dry weather could come to an end Tuesday afternoon, as the NWS in Cheyenne’s forecast includes a 30% chance of showers between noon and 3 p.m., followed by another slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon.
