CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has forecast a fairly quiet week with dry air and warm temperatures for the capital city.
The forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 61 today. There will be a south wind of 10–15 mph, continuing into the overnight period as skies become partly cloudy and the low falls to around 34.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for stronger winds from the west-southwest at 10–20 mph with possible gusts of up to 30 mph. Skies will be partly sunny and become fully sunny with a high near 63. Tuesday night will see increasing clouds and a low near 34.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 63. Winds from the south-southwest will continue at 10–15 mph. Overnight Wednesday, skies will be partly cloudy and the low will fall to around 37.
Slightly cooler temperatures are expected Thursday under mostly sunny skies. The forecast high is 59. The low is forecast at 30.
Friday will be sunny with a high again near 60. The overnight period will be mostly clear with a low near 30.
