CHEYENNE, Wyo. — High winds are expected to persist through various regions in southeast Wyoming through Thursday night.
On Thursday, Cheyenne and Laramie County residents should see mostly cloudy skies with a high of 54 degrees by 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne. Expect breezes of 10–15 mph potentially increasing to 20–25 mph in the morning. Wind gusts could ramp up to 35 mph. Residents may see a chance of showers before 5 p.m. too, with a slight chance of rain and snow showers before 8 p.m.
Thursday night will lead into calm, sunny conditions Friday and Saturday, with temperatures in the high 50s. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, and winds are predicted to pick up.
Sunday skies will be mostly sunny, and temperatures will reach into the 50s. There will be a chance of rain before 8 p.m. then a chance of snow. Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday are all expected to feature high winds.
