Cheyenne sees sunny weekend ahead

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Following a high wind warning Thursday night, southeast Wyoming is back to sunny skies and moderately warm temperatures for days to come.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne shows sunny skies in its forecasts for Friday through Sunday. The high for Friday and Saturday is set to be in the high 50s, with Sunday bringing slightly colder temperatures in the low 50s.

Sunday will also bring with it breezy winds as well as a chance of rain after 5 p.m. Snow and rain showers may greet Cheyenne after 8 p.m.

To kick off next week, Monday is expected to be partly sunny with a slight chance of snow before 11 a.m. Temperatures will be cooler in the low 40s.
