Mild weather midweek expected to clear snow; high wind watch in effect Wednesday night

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — An upward trend of warm weather is arriving in southeast Wyoming over the coming days.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne states that Cheyenne will see temperatures in the 50s and 60s on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Each day will also have sunny skies.

Tuesday’s high is set to be 54 degrees with an overnight low of 33 degrees. The high will jump up to 61 on Wednesday, and the overnight low will again be 33.

A high wind watch warns of gusts traveling up to 60–65 mph starting Wednesday night. Affected regions include Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie and the towns of Buford, Arlington and Bordeaux.
