CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Southeast Wyoming will see mild weather and high winds Thursday, followed by cooler temperatures Friday and into the weekend.
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne states that a high wind watch will be in effect until 11 p.m. Thursday throughout most regions in Wyoming, with temperatures rising to 53 degrees. Wind-prone regions could see gusts as high as 75 mph, while other areas may experience winds blowing at 60–65 mph. Cheyenne has a high wind watch with winds moving between 25 and 35 mph in the afternoon.
Friday will see a chance of snow before 11 a.m., then mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will dip compared to Thursday to a high of 37 degrees.
The weekend will continue to have cold weather and clear skies, as Saturday’s high is expected to be 32 degrees and Sunday’s is expected to be 44 degrees.
