CASPER, Wyo. — To say Sunday was a blustery day throughout the Equality State would be an understatement: Throughout the state, 33 communities saw winds stronger than 58 mph — the threshold required for a high wind warning to be declared.
Wyoming emergency personnel across the state received several reports of overturned vehicles on Sunday morning, when the wind gusts were at their peak.
The strongest gusts were felt in Bordeaux, where winds clocked in at about 83 mph, according to data from the National Weather Service.
