Freezing fog lasts through Thursday morning; sunshine and warmer temperatures into weekend

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A freezing fog advisory is in effect Thursday morning with clouds shrouding the southeast Wyoming region. However, clouds will eventually clear to make way for sunshine and milder temperatures up through the weekend.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne issued a freezing fog advisory that will last until 11 a.m. Patchy fog will mostly cover the region between 9 and 10 a.m. The day will progress into mostly sunny skies into the afternoon. The high will be near 40 degrees, and the low won’t be much colder at 30 degrees.

Friday is set to have sunny skies and a high of 46 degrees. The northwest wind will be slightly breezy, traveling at around 15 mph. The overnight low will be around 24 degrees.

The weekend is set to have mild temperatures and breezy wind. Saturday’s and Sunday’s highs will be around 54 degrees, and skies will be sunny each day.
