CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents will be able to enjoy some clear skies as they say adieu to 2023, with the National Weather Service in Cheyenne predicting good weather for the final weekend of the year.
Today will be mostly sunny, with the NWS in Cheyenne predicting a high temperature near 48 degrees. Throughout the day, the area will contend with moderate winds moving in from the west at 10–15 mph.
At night, conditions will become cloudy, with the NWS in Cheyenne reporting a low around 24 degrees after sundown. The wind will also die further down at night, with wind speeds peaking at around 10 mph.
Saturday will again be sunny and even warmer than the day before, with a high near 50 in the forecast. Meanwhile, light to moderate winds are expected to max out at 5–10 mph.
After nightfall, temperatures are likely to fall to a low of about 22 degrees.
