CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Though just days removed from snowfall and chilly temperatures, the coming days in the capital city will be relatively warm ones, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
Today will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 46 degrees. The NWS in Cheyenne reports that the day will be a breezy one, with winds moving in from the west at 5–15 mph in the morning and growing stronger to 15–25 mph as the afternoon progresses.
At night, temperatures are expected to fall to a low of around 28 degrees. Winds will also pick up after dark, as the NWS in Cheyenne predicts their speeds will increase to 30–40 mph.
Monday will be sunny, with a high temperature near 51. The NWS in Cheyenne reports that the day will start very windy in the morning, with wind speeds of 25–30 mph, though the wind will calm as the day goes, decreasing to 15–20 mph later on.
Tuesday will likely be even warmer, as the NWS in Cheyenne’s forecast calls for temperatures that max out at a high of 55 degrees. The wind will be no less fierce, however, as gusts upwards of 45 mph are possible.
