Today, people can expect showers throughout the day, with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Temperatures are only expected to reach a high near 41 degrees. Winds should move through the region at 10–15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

The precipitation is likely to continue into the night, with rain showers before 9 p.m. turning into a wintry mix of rain and snow in the late-night hours. Temperatures should fall to a low of around 32 degrees, the NWS in Cheyenne reports.

On Sunday, the area will see a 40% chance of rain and snow showers before 10 a.m., followed by rain showers throughout the rest of the day. Temps should climb up to nearly 55 degrees.
