Sunny days to kick off coming week in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The start of the new week is expected to feature clear, sunny days followed by chilly nights, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Monday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 66 degrees. The NWS in Cheyenne reports that the day should be fairly blustery, with west winds reaching speeds of 15 mph and gusting at up to 25 mph.

The NWS in Cheyenne reports a chance of sprinkles after midnight. Temperatures are likely to fall to a low of around 39 degrees overnight.

Tuesday will be another sunny day, with a high temperature near 65 degrees. It will be another windy day as well, with west winds of 20–25 mph increasing to 30–35 mph later in the afternoon. Winds could gust as strong as 50 mph.

Clouds are expected to begin moving in after sundown, followed by a chance of scattered showers throughout the night and into the next morning.
