Monday, Tuesday to each begin with sunny skies, close with rain

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — For Cheyenne residents, the coming days may begin sunny and clear before rain moves in later in the day.

On Monday, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne reports the area will see a high temperature of 65 degrees. The morning will feature clear skies, though there is a 30% chance of scattered showers beginning after noon. Moderate winds of up to roughly 15 mph are expected as well.

The 30% chance of rain will continue into the evening as temps fall to a low of 44 degrees after sundown.

Tuesday will similarly start sunny before thunderstorms move in later in the day. On Tuesday, though, there isn’t just a slight chance of precipitation but a likelihood of it, as the NWS in Cheyenne reports a 70% chance of rain. Tuesday temps should reach a high of about 72.

The NWS in Cheyenne reports a 20% chance of rainfall continuing into Tuesday night.
