Weekend days could start sunny, end rainy

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — According to the forecast from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, today and Sunday could both begin clear-skied for the capital city before receiving rainfall later in the day.

Today will begin with clear skies and a high temperature of around 74 degrees, though the NWS in Cheyenne reports a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m.

The chance of scattered showers will continue into the night, as temperatures fall to a low of around 44 degrees.

Sunday will be very similar, as sunny skies give way to a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. The NWS in Cheyenne reports a high temperature of around 75 degrees.

The NWS in Cheyenne forecasts indicate a 20% chance of the rain continuing past sundown and lasting until around midnight. Temps are expected to fall to a low of around 44 degrees.
