Chance of rain to kick off coming week

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents wanting a reprieve from the weekend rains may need to wait a bit longer, as the National Weather Service in Cheyenne is reporting that the scattered showers could continue into the coming week.

Monday is expected to begin with cloudy skies, followed by a 60% likelihood of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures can be expected to reach a high near 79 degrees.

At night, the chance of rain will drop to 30% before midnight. Temps should fall to a low of around 51 degrees.

On Tuesday, Cheyenne will see a 20% chance of intermittent showers and thunderstorms after noon. The NWS in Cheyenne predicts a mostly sunny day, with a high near 81 degrees.
