Sunny start to weekend days could lead to rain

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, Cheyenne-area residents can expect the coming weekend days to begin with sunny skies, but with chances of rainfall later in the day.

Today, the NWS in Cheyenne is calling for a high temperature of 81 degrees, but with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. North-northwest winds are likely to move through the region at 10–15 mph.

At night, the chance of precipitation will grow to 30%, with temperatures falling to a low of 49 degrees.

Sunday brings with it a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. The NWS in Cheyenne reports that the day will still be mostly sunny, with a high near 72.
