Rain possible Monday before skies clear in following days

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — National Weather Service in Cheyenne forecasts suggest that residents of Wyoming’s capital city may need to contend with rain throughout the day on Monday, though the skies should be clear by the next day.

The NWS in Cheyenne reports a 20% chance of showers in Monday’s morning hours, growing into a 30% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms throughout the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach a high near 79 degrees. The day will be fairly windy, with southwest winds of 15–25 mph and possible gusts as strong as 35 mph.

On Tuesday, however, the NWS in Cheyenne reports there will be a clear, sunny sky and temperatures reaching a high of 81 degrees. Light to moderate northwest winds will be possible.
