CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne-area residents may see some precipitation as the coming week gets underway, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
On Monday, the NWS in Cheyenne reports a 20% chance of showers between noon and 3 p.m., turning into a chance of scattered thunderstorms after 3. During the day, temperatures are predicted to reach a high of about 86 degrees.
Skies are expected to clear up as the day turns to night, however. Temperatures should fall to a low of 55 degrees after sundown.
Tuesday will again see a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The NWS in Cheyenne reports a high of 87 degrees. Light winds are expected to reach speeds of 5–10 mph.
At night, the chance of rain grows to 30%. Temperatures, meanwhile, will again drop to a low of about 55 degrees.
