CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation says that Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Laramie is closed in both directions as of 5 a.m. on Wednesday due to winter conditions and crashes.
The estimated reopening time was at first listed as unknown, but WYDOT updated to a 4- to 6-hour estimated reopening time as of around 5:50 a.m.
Images from traffic cameras showed mainly long-haul truck traffic backed up near the Sinclair exit.
Also closed this morning are U.S. Highway 30 between Laramie and Rawlins, U.S. 191 in Rock Springs and U.S. 287 between Laramie and Rawlins.
