CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Officials with the Laramie Police Department say that a resident in that city reported a masked individual invading their home.
Police say the resident reported that she stabbed the intruder.
It was then reported the intruder fled, with the knife still impaled in their body.
No further information or description about the assailant is available.
“Contrary to social media postings, the Laramie Police Department does not believe that this individual is a direct threat to the community at large,” a Laramie PD release said Friday morning. “The Department has not received any reports of similar activity in the Laramie area.”
