The Rock Springs Police Department says that one suspect is in custody, after reportedly failing to stop for officers, in a vehicle that was reported stolen.
The suspect has not been identified by police,
On Saturday, February 29, 2020 at approximately 12:19 pm, Rock Springs PD officers were dispatched to a call in reference to a stolen vehicle.
Police say the vehicle was quickly located and when officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop the female diver refused to pull over. Officers followed the vehicle until the suspect came to a stop at the corner of Edgar and Gale Streets in Rock Springs.
The driver was thrn taken into custody without incident.
The case remains under investigation.
The Rock Springs Police Department reminds citizens that all persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
