A male suspect is facing a felony child abuse charge, after law enforcement says that the man engaged in a physical altercation with a teenage juvenile.

Edward Keith Moore, born in 1969, was arrested on March 7, 2020 during the early morning hours. In addition to a felony charge Child Abuse, Moore also faces a misdemeanor charge of Unlawful Contact.

Deputies with the Laramie County Sheriff’s  say that just before 12:30 am Saturday, they were summoned to the 1900 block of Park Avenue, In Laramie County for a domestic disturbance.

According to charging information and an affidavit filed in Laramie County Circuit Court, Moore is accused of being in a verbal altercation with an adult individual who lived in the household. The altercation escalated, and the adult claimed that Moore kicked them in the ribs.

The adult said that kick did not leave a mark and did not cause pain.
