CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Police Department has confirmed that 49-year-old Edward Eugene Robertson has been taken into custody and is facing a recommended charge of 1st Degree Murder.
Casper Police Department Sergeant Joey Wilhelm confirms that Robertson is the suspect arrested in a domestic homicide investigation that the Casper PD announced over the weekend.
Around 8:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2020, officers report responding to the 1300 block of Maple Street for a shooting call.

Upon arrival to the residence, officers located a deceased adult female. One adult male at the scene was taken into custody without incident. He was later arrested by Casper Police Officers on a recommended charge of murder in the first degree.
“At this time, we believe this to be an isolated incident that is domestic in nature with no threat to the public,” Casper PD said. “This is an ongoing investigation; additional details will be released as they become available.”
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.
