CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Cheyenne Police Department says that they have placed a 28-year old woman into custody on a felony count of Possession of Methamphetamine.
Police say that they made contact with Salinas after being dispatched to the 3400 block of Windmill Road to execute a warrant on her for a bond revocation in relation to a previous Aggravated Assault charge.
An affidavit filed in the case reports that when police brought Salinas to the Laramie County Detention Center she admitted to having methamphetamine on her person.
Authorities located the illicit narcotic, which weighed 3.7 grams including packaging.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office.
